The Welsh Singers Competition Final

A competition for Welsh singers on the cusp of their professional careers.

The winner will represent Wales in BBC Cardiff Singer of the World 2027 and will receive an award of £5,000 and the competition trophy. The other finalists will each receive an award of £1,000. There will also be a prize for the best Welsh song and an Audience Prize.

Each singer will present a 20-minute programme of opera, operetta, oratorio, lieder or artsong, accompanied by David Doidge on the piano. It will be open to the audience.
